    Hey there!

    So about 15 minutes ago I got a message from Xbox live telling me (quote):

    "You have activated automatic recurring billing on your subscription(s), so you will be charged the full monthly price at the end of your trial period, unless you turn it off before that date. Doing so will automatically cancel your membership once it runs
    out. To turn off recurring billing, please follow these steps: go to account.microsoft.com, click Services & subscriptions, click Manage, click Change, click Turn off recurring billing, click Confirm cancellation."

    So I logged into my account and the only subscription this could relate to would be Xbox Live Gold which I bought 6/22 and cancelled last week. It clearly states that it expires 7/21 and only gives me the option to turn the recurring billing on again, so
    it should be turned off.

    So what is the message about? I have never gotten this sort of message before. Is is just for information? Because it sounds like I would be charged even though I cancelled my only subscription last week.

    Help would be appreciated because this is really bugging me Xbox live message about activated automatic recurring billing but my only recurring billing... :)

    EDIT:

    After contacting the support via the live chat like suggested they quickly checked my account and told me everything is fine and I won't be charged again. But they wouldn't really tell me why the message was send in the first place. Let's just hope the matter

    Dear Xbox, on my account LilPeanut360 it says I have activated automatic recurring billing on my subscription whixh i did not and now i jave to pay $10 plus taxes but I am positive that I did not activate recurring billing so I might change my console
    to Ps4 since it seems like your console is not working correctly and saying I activated recurring billing.So please turn it off before I change my mind and change my console to Ps4

    It does sound like you have the automatically recurring bill setting active on your account.

    When recurring billing is turned on for a Microsoft subscription, you’ll be billed for your subscription on your renewal date.

    Sign in to Services & subscriptions with your Microsoft account. If you have more than one Microsoft
    account, make sure you're signing in with the one that applies to the subscription you want to set up recurring billing for.

    On that page you should be able to turn off automatically recurring billing

    I checked on my console and there it also says that Xbox Live Gold expires 7/21/2020 and that the last charge was 6/22/2020. All other possible supscriptions are listed under "Canceled" and all expired.

    Just to be safe I now try to contact the Xbox Support like you suggested.

    It definitely sounds like it's thinking you have a subscription that will be billed in the not-too-distant future. Double-check that everything is turned off for sure, and double-check via your Xbox console, in the subscription area of settings, that Xbox
    Live will expire on July 21st, and not renew on July 21st.

    Otherwise, contact Xbox Support. If nothing else, maybe they can verify that the XBL message is just poorly worded. There's a bit of a delay with the whole COVID thing going on, but they're still fairly quick.

    No problem! Hopefully they'll get to the bottom of it for you. Better to be pro-active than have to look for a refund after the fact.
