xbox live membership replacment

hey,

few months ago i bought the xbox live membership for 12 months and used the code that is written for my xbox360.

couple weeks ago i got a new xbox one and my question is :

can i use the same code from my xbox360 ? because i dont use it anymore.

is there any option not to buy a new code and use the current one ?

No ones probably gonna give you free live, just buy it for $30

 

Xbox live subs are assigned to your account,not your console so the code should work fine on the xbox one.

If you've already redeemed it on your 360 you won't be able to use it again but you are showing as a silver account here on the forums so i'm a bit confused as to if you've used the code or not.

 

i have redeemed the code in my former xbox360.

i wont be able to use it again ? or to do a sub between the use in xbox360 to xbox-one?

i am no longer using the xbox360 so it is just a waste.

is there anyway to use the code in my new console instead of the old one ?

All you do is download your profile onto the xbox one.Your gold membership is tied to your account & will just carry over onto the xbox one.

 

Just as Daft Badger said. You just need to sign in your account on your xbox one so your gold subscription will carry over. Though you need to make sure that you're signing in with the correct account where you redeemed the code which seems to be not the
one you're signed in on the forums since your account shows you're only silver.

where can i check the profile that i redeemed the code with? because you say it isnt this one.

or i need to try every profile untill it will work.. i have like 10 =]

 

To check if the profile is gold. You just need to sign in the account and go to this page.

account.microsoft.com/services

You will see the active subscription there if the account have one.
