    Do you have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription? If you had a prepaid gold or game pass code on top of that subscription, the code will extend your subscription, but at a conervsion rate. A 12 month gold card would have been added as 4 months of Ultimate.

    I had the same issue. Then realized my yearly Xbox live membership was expired. So that was the issue. You have to buy the yearly Xbox live and it’ll work
