I cannot play online multiplayer even though I suscribed for a xbox gold one-month trial???

I recently subscribed for an one month Xbox Live Gold trial. The subscription was successful and when I check my subscriptions on settings on my Xbox one; the membership does show up. However, when I try playing online multiplayer on games such as Madden
NFL 16, it does not allow me to play while displaying the following message - "An Xbox Live Membership limitation does not allow you to access this feature."

Ive played madden online before. Now im getting this message

 

You don't give a lot of details so I am going to take a shot in the dark. Try logging out of your profile and logging back in. Test to see if that corrects the issue. If not then remove your profile from the console then reload it and again test to see
if the problem is resolved. Let us know. Good Luck!!!

Hello! for problems with account loggin, internet and also Xbox Live access... (Console Power cycle)

We recommend to perform a power cycle on your console, here in the following link are the steps...

If the previous recomendation doesnt work for you, just do what i do, turn the console off and unplug the AC cable for 30 seconds and plug it in again, this will do the same effect than power cycle...

Please go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and check the status of your subscriptions.

If you see Xbox Live Gold as being active with a renewal date of a subscription or a future end date for a prepaid code, try the following to resolve the issue:

First, make sure you know the CORRECT email for your account by
following the instructions here.

Force the console to re-download your Gold status by
deleting your profile from the Xbox One console with these instructions.

Then do a reboot on the console by holding the power button on the console for more than 10 seconds. Turn the console on, and make sure it shows you a green boot screen. During that boot, it'll clear temporary information about your account (i.e. outdated
Gold status). If it does not show a green boot screen, hold the power button for 10 seconds again, and pull the power cord for 30 seconds.

After the console has finished booting with a green boot screen and it shows you the home screen, download your profile again with the instructions from the link above.
