    Xbox live login with authenticator app not working


    Hi,

    First of all thanks to anyone in advance for any replies.

    I've recently started using the authenticator app.

    When I attempt to sign into my xbox live account from the xbox; I enter my email address, and then on the xbox there is a quick blank screen with no options and then returns to the add account option. On my authenticator app it notifies me of the attempt
    and asks which of the codes I see to approve the login.

    There was no codes on screen on the xbox so I cannot approve this login.

    Surely something as simple/common as this should work on the xbox login right?

    Is anyone else getting this, and how do I fix. I do not want to disable the multi factor security on my account (for me this is not a solution).

    I've tried to google this and I can see others with similar issues but no one (from what I've seen or read) has reported exactly this.

    Right now I cannot sign into Xbox live

    I did try this a week ago and it didn't work for me.

    I just gave it another try and it still doesn't work.

    Authentication from within games still fails, for example in Grounded: Xbox Live popup appears, I click on my account and the login fails with the above error code.

    Login in every other Microsoft service works without a problem: Windows, Office 365, Outlook, and even this damn Xbox app.

    One of my most anticipated Xbox One features never works.

    Twitch app had some problems of authentication through days.... Try to access your account via PC, then acces (login) on your Xbox one... Sometimes this will make broadcast work fine...

    go to System > storage and press LB RB X LB RB X LB RB X LB RB X

    Restart the Xbox

    try and re download your profile

    If it fails go here and setup 2 step authentication and create an app password to login to xbox live

    I usually try to login with my Xbox account only when connecting, the App does not have an option to put the proxy credentials to authenticate on my network. And so the App claims that I do not have a connection to the internet due to the absence of such
    authentication.
