    xbox live login fails on iPad - cookies


    Hi,

    When trying to log into xbox live, i receive an error about cookies needing to be turned on in my browser on iOS.

    I've changed the settings for Safari (turned off "block all cookies")

    I've reinstalled the xbox app.

    I've checked for iOS updates

    iOS v 13.6.1

    xbox app version 2006.624

    So, basically, I can't even enter my account info.

    Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

    If you're aren't able to login via xbox.com you could try clearing the cookies and temporary files used on the browser try it via a different browser or via inPrivate navigation (Ctrl+Shift+P) or even different PC. If those fail aswell there might be something
    going on with the xbox live account. It might be best to contact Xbox Support since the Microsoft Account itself seems fine, since you are able to login via commerce.microsoft.com

    I have the same problem. All my other devices are working fine ( computers, ipads, iphones). I tested the xbox connection and it is connected to the internet but fails the xbox live connection test

    Hello tomcarmy,

    Is your Windows 10 fully up to date?

    Also, can you try clearing the cache and cookies in Internet Explorer and then re-launch the game? It looks like the in-game login utilizes IE as its portal to Xbox Live, so clearing the cache and cookies there may let you re-enter your credentials and bypass
    the issue.

    beta dashboard now live, once a week i am unable to log into xbox live

    only error message that i get from the test xbox live, is xbox live failed to connect.

    can login fine through games for windows live.

    Thanks for the reply. I see the network options, but when I run the test to connect, it states that it has failed. I have the wireless network setup for my laptop and iPad, but cannot seem to get it setup for the xbox live.
