    Are you signed in to Xbox Live when you try to play these games?

    If you are, then this has nothing to do with your license transfer. The license transfer only affects your ability to play games offline.

    If you are not, try signing in to Xbox Live. This will help rule out licensing as an issue.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble. There are 2 answers for your issue.

    1. First and foremost. It is against the terms of use and code of conduct to share, give or sell a gamertag to someone else. Doing so could result in the gamertag and/or console(s) being permanently banned from Live.

    2. If your friend has maxed out their Home setting they will need to call phone support to request a reset.

    Sounds like you are experiencing a licensing issue. If you downloaded the game on a different console, the console license is registered to that console and a profile license is registered to the profile that made the purchase. If you are using a different
    console and NOT connected to Xbox Live, there is no way to show you are the owner of the game. By connecting to Xbox Live, the profile license is verified allowing you to play. If everything I have previously stated matches your current sitiation you will
    probably need to perform a
    license transfer     which will shift the console license to the console where you perform the license transfer. Afterward you should be able to re-download the game and then you can play it without being connected to Xbox Live. Hope this helps!
