Xbox Live Latency Extremely Above Normal. 2 weeks of lagging

The Latency on Xbox Live has been above normal and is constantly lagging. Latency of 986 ms , 1153 ms , and 1347ms have been recorded. My isp connection has a strong download speed of 10.18 mbps and a strong upload speed of 1.78 as well as an excellent
latency of 54ms when pinging a server over 1500 miles away. Why is the Latency only extremely above normal on Xbox live ?

IT IS RUINING MY ONLINE GAMING EXPERIENCE AND SO FAR I HAVE BEEN PROVIDED WITH LITTLE TO NO SUPPORT.

MY XBOX ONE IS HARDWIRED, I HAVE ADJUSTED MY ROUTER SETTING SO THAT XBOX ONE IS ENABLED AND LISTED IN MY DMZ.

THE CAT 5 CABLE IS GOOD. THE ROUTER IS GOOD. MY MODEM IS GOOD.

WHY DO I LAG SO MUCH ONLY ON XBOX LIVE ?

Have you EVER been accused of lagging on Xbox Live? If so, how did you react and what did you do?

I did once within the past three weeks. After leaving a game of Left 4 Dead 2 (Versus) because my team sucked big time, some loli-acting opponent messaged me accusing me of lagging.

Latency issues

For the past week or so, my Xbox One has had high latency issues that have given me massive performance problems. Latency has always been around 20 ms, but this past week, it's consistently been above 100. It's only to my Xbox though; all of my other
devices are reporting normal numbers. I'm having all kinds of problems. Online games are essentially unplayable, streaming video lags like crazy and the apps randomly quit and give me 'no Internet connection' messages, even the dash lags because it's constantly
reconnecting to XBL. Is it a server issue or what?

The Xbox Live core service is currently having issues. Could we wait until this service is up and running under normal conditions, and have you report back with some new results

Run the network diagnostic tool test from your console's network settings and have us know your ping.

You can also bring up Edge on your console and visit speedtest and test your ping that way. Please keep in mind that the ping results from speedtest.net is based on a different metric. It is, by default, measured against a test server based on best ping.

 

Hi. 1st. If the core services have been affecting my online experience for 2 weeks. Why am I just reading about it now ? 2nd. While using speedtest.net. I chose the server that was not based on the best ping. I could have chosen a server 200 miles
away and received a much better result. Thank you for your response, however, if i wanted to manipulate my speeds i wouldn't make them worse, would I ?

 

Now that core services have been restored , I am now getting slower download and upload speeds and higher latency than ever !!!!! My download speeds ( according to detailed network statistics ) is 6.57 download and .68 upload with an ping of 1098ms
??????????????????????? When core services were down I was receiving 10.18 mbps download and 1.79 mbps upload with a latency of 986 ms !!!! What is wrong with your network ????????

I have deleted all saved clips from my xbox one.

I have placed my xbox 1 into the dmz.

I have checked my modem , router , and cat 5 cable.

My isp is performing optimally outside of xbox live.

What's next ?
