    Xbox Live keeps losing connection randomly after few minutes!


    What Country/State/Province do you live in? USA, MA

    Modem brand & model number: Verizon Fios G-1100

    Router brand & model number: Same as above

    How many consoles do you have connected to this router? Just the xbox 360

    Wired or wireless (for each console): wired

    If Wireless, are you using a white or black external adapter, or an internal (Xbox 360S) adapter? Internal (problem first happened on wireless, moved it to wired)

    Things you have tried: Deleting profile, re-downloading profile, opened all necessary ports, uPNP is on, ipv6 support is on, switched cables, everything

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown yes

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? no haven't gotten past the internet.

    Any Error Codes you encounter:

    Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)? Verizon Fios

    After you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" press “Y” for "More Info”. In the pop-up that appears, what are the following values, if shown? (If a value below does not appear for you, just leave it blank.)

    Like I said above, tried everything. Also deleted system cache 3 times to no avail. Only thing I have not done is call Verizon and request a new router. Any other suggestions?

    For some reason my Xbox keeps disconnecting from xbox live an controller keeps losing sync don't know what to do please help it does it randomly how to fix ?

    Xbox Live Disconnecting

    having the same problem. it stays connected for a few minutes then randomly disconnects for no reason. can get back on right afterwards but it keeps repeating with the random disconnect after a few minutes.

    Serious External Hard Drive Issues for Xbox One

    I have a western digital 1TB hard drive and I connected it to my Xbox one to play the movies that o had on it. Unfortunately,it randomly loses its connection to the Xbox one after random time intervals. I thought that this had to deal with the drove going
    to sleep. Because initially it would lose connection after 30 minutes, which was the time that the sleep timer is set to by default. I went into the settings of the wd software that came with the drive and set the timer to never and saved the changes. This
    worked for a short while, but now it randomly loses its connection right in the middle of a movie which is by far the most irritating thing. I assume it has to deal with the Xbox one OS because when I stream it from my surface with the hard drive it does not
    lose connection.

    The reason you keep losing connection is because of signal loss, as it "disconnects" if it hasn't received any date from Xbox Live for a few seconds. Try to connect your Xbox directly to the modem. If you still keep losing Xbox
    Live signal then your modem is the culprit and you can request a new one from your Internet Service Provider.

    However if your Xbox Live connection is stable then the router is the problem and needs to be replaced.
