Xbox live keeps disconnecting

Now before you say, go look at other forum posts coz there are heaps out there on this issue, I have.

The issue - I can sign in perfectly connecting to xbox live just as normal, and can join a party and can join games just as normal. But with in around 5 - 10 minutes of playing, im instantly disconnected. I go test the connection and it connects to the internet,
but not to xbox live, and it tells me to reset my modem. This has been happening for about 2 - 3 days now.

What have I tried to solve this issue? A lot. I've tried deleting my profile and then re downloading it, clearing system cache 3 times, formatting the network settings, turning xbox and modem off for 5 minutes, doing a dns flush.

Has anyone got any other advise on what I can do to try solve this issue?

Xbox keeps disconnecting me from xbox live every time I go on a game

Xbox keeps disconnecting me from xbox live every time I go on a game. I don't know whats going on but it keeps disconnecting me and the if I go back on xbox home it reconnects me again.

Maybe it's an ISP issue... Live still works fine. How old is your Modem/Router. What color is the light on your power brick??

 

Modem is fairyl new, it is a Netgear D6300.

The colour is green on the brick.

 

Another interesting fact about this which i just discovered, it happens after being connected for 6 minutes and 40 seconds precisely, every time.

 

Have you restet your Ip address, Or read what to do with a DDOS attack... Like mentioned in your other topic.

Have you called your internet service provider or Xbox Live support?

 

I was talking to someone from xbox live support for an hour and a half, trying things but still no luck. Will contact my isp now.

 

This does sound like either a problem with your modem/router or an isp issue

 

ISP said nothing wrong from there end

 

I SEEM TO BE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM ONLY THERE IS NOT CERTAIN TIME IT KICKS ME OFF XBOX LIVE, BUT MOSTLY WHEN WATCHING NETFLIX, OR ANOTHER MOVIE APP.... THE APP WILL BE WORKING JUST FINE, AND THEN SUDDENLY IT WILL STOP AND TELL ME I HAVE TO SIGN IN TO
XBOX LIVE, AND THEN I HAVE TO TURN OFF THE XBOX, AND TURN IT BACK ON AND IT WILL WORK FINE, BUT THEN AFTER A WHILE, IT KICKS ME OFF AGAIN, WHY ?? IT IS NOT THE MODEM, OR ROUTER, OR THE ISP, I HAVE GONE THROUGH EVERYTHING WITH XBOX, THE ISP, AND RESETTING
THE MODEM AND ROUTER BUT TO NO AVAIL ?? DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM ? I BELIEVE IT IS THE SERVER DOING THIS, AND NOTHING MORE !!
