Xbox live keeps disconnecting every 3 mins

Hey.

My probéem started just a day ago. 2 days ago I took my Xbox 360 to my friends home to play some online side-to-side. Everything was fine. Yesterday I tried to play some GTA online and Xbox live keeps disconnecting me every 3 mins. I checked my connection,
everything was fine: no error. Im using wireless Wi-Fi and its ok for all of my devices. I've already cleared system cache, deleted my profile and re-downloaded it. It disconnets me even if I'm not in game. If I'm at the home screen I do get disconnected.

3 days agoe everything were fine.

A solution would be pretty nice,

Disconnecting from Xbox Live every 2-3 mins

XBOX LIVE disconnecting

these forums tell you how to connect to xbox live, but I can connect to xbox live, but it just keeps disconnecting. Some times it will disconnect every 10 min and sometimes it will stay connected for 30 min. If I am playing reach online it will disconnect
and it will disconnect when im not playing games.

 

A few things to look out for, which could cause problems on your xbox.

Go to settings > storage > hard drive.

Go through each in the list to find any downloaded game/addon app/avatar item that contains an exclamation mark notifying that file is corrupt. Remove those affected files

Once all corrupted files are removed (if any) clear system cache again

Another additional option after that is rolling back system update. If you downloaded the update and you had connection problems at the time, it could impact the running of your system. To do this go to settings > storage > highlight hard drive then with
your controller press these buttons in order " LB + RB + X. LB + RB X " [NOTE: This will not delete any of your gamesaves or downloadable content.

This will automatically reboot your console and prompt an update, leave it going without any physical network disconnections.

Tried both of them, nothing happened. Still disconnecting me from live.

 

I had a similar problem, I'm not sure what other methods you have tried, have you tried either a connection test in network settings? Sometimes that sorts it, I know you said your connection is fine, and I don't doubt it. But a manual connect test to xbox
live does help. If that fails try giving it a full shutdown. Turn the console off and wait for the green light on the console to turn amber. Or just shut it down and once shut down unplug it from the wall

It's happened to me too. Try resetting your network settings to factory defaults and put your Wi-Fi password in again.
