Xbox Live keeps asking me to upgrade to a gold membership, but I already have one...

Hi,

So for the last two days I have been trying to play a couple different games online on the xbox one. Whenever I try to join or start a party, download any content, or just play online I am taken to the upgrade to gold page and cannot do much after that.

I renewed my subscription around 10/25/14 and according to my account on Microsoft my subscription is good through 9/25/15. Is it possible that my account is suspended or something?

I have tried cold rebooting, removing my account from my xbox and then downloading it again, I have even tried using a two day free trail to see if I could get on, but xbox live told me I already had gold...

I have combed through a couple forum threads and have been unable to find anything that really helped.

I am not sure what to do at this point and am quite frustrated. Any replies would be appreciated.

Netflix issue?

Hi

Upgraded to gold membership to watch Netflix on xbox 360 tonight and can't launch Netflix because it keeps asking me for a gold membership, which i already have..Any ideas ?

Xbox Live Rewards

i'm deeming this xbox live rewards as bogus! i have been an xbox live gold member for years and it keeps prompting me to upgrade to gold...yet, how do i upgrade to gold when im already gold!

any billing or subscription related issue would have to be solved by contacting Support on phone

Hi K3NTZORruls,

do you already have an xbox live gold membership? As by using that code you are considered upgrading your membership as it converts any remaining membership into the upgraded game pass subscription. Once converted unless you wait until your new game pass membership
ends, you wont be able to just add more time to your xbox live gold unless you choose to keep game pass.

if you did it correctly you should have gotten the free 30 day gold trial if not then your silver

- Sign up for Xbox Live Silver.

- Choose Xbox Live Silver Membership for $0.00 even if you like to have Xbox Live Gold.

- It will ask you if you are sure you want to continue with only the Silver Membership.

- Choose the "Keep Silver" option to continue with the set-up.

- Then it will inform you that you are now eligible for a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold Membership.

- Enjoy the free trial and make sure to keep the upgraded Gamertag account.

I have a similar issue on XBOX One. I purchased an XBOX Live Gold Membership, but on my XBOX One Dashboard, I can't access any Gold features, including free games. I just keeps asking me to "Join Gold". I checked my subscriptions on the XBOX One and online
under my Microsoft account, and it shows my active XBOX Live Gold subscription. How can I make my XBOX One recognize I have Gold????
