    Hello,

    we got a new wifi modem recently and since then I have been having problems. When I turn my Xbox (one X) on, it will connect to the internet just fine, but not xbox live, and sometimes it just does not connect. I turn off console, reset internet modem and
    it will work, but sometimes it doesn't. Where the content boxes pop up, it just says " connect to Xbox Live" BUT IT WON'T LET ME!!!!

    Hello Kyle

    Sorry to hear the issue with connecting. We recommend
    Power cycle     the console. If that doesn't work I suggest trying this:

    • Go to settings
    • then scroll down to Network
    • Select advanced settings
    • Then go to alt mac address select clear then restart.
    Sometimes when you get a new router/modem, even though you connect to the new modem, the Xbox console will still try to connect to the old one even though it is not there. This will clear that and allow it to connect fully to the new modem.

    everytime i turn my console on i have to run the connection test. at first i thought it was because ive changed to talk talk but my laptop connects perfectly. i dont know if its because im still in the dashboard beta but it gets very annoying.
