    Xbox Live issues in Backward Compatibility mode


    Hello. To get right to it, I'm having issues trying to keep a stable Xbox Live connection in backward compatibility mode on Xbox One. It goes like this: I start a play session in *insert 360 game here*, and about 10-15 minutes into the play session, a message
    will pop up saying I was disconnected from Xbox Live. The strange part is, when I go back to the Xbox One dashboard, the connection there is just fine. I can sign back in on the dashboard in the 360 emulation, but even then, the connection sometimes gets lost
    again. Searching the Xbox forums, I can only find one other similar issue. It's been a bit frustrating to have lots of search engine results come back fruitless. That said, I'm posting here all the same, in hopes of finding a resolution. I hope someone will
    be able to help me with this issue so I can get back to gaming.

    My Account won't stay connected to xbox live on backwards compatibility.

    I'm having a problem with backwards compatibility. My xbox live account disconnects from xbox live when I attempt to log in on the 360 menu on backwards compatibility for Xbox one.

    Games With Gold November 2015

    Games with Gold Titles Included in Backward Compatibility

    When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

    Hey Blue Rose1493! I would suggest clearing your local Xbox 360 storage by going to settings and then storage and see if that helps resolve your issue. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

    Is this issue just with Fable Anniversary in Backwards Compatible mode for Xbox One/X/S? It's possible the servers are just no longer active.

    Sorry, COD BO3 is not Backwards compatible and probably will not be Backwards compatible since there is a Xbox One version of the game that is much more detailed and has more options and a campaign mode.

    Sorry to hear your having issues playing games with your son on Xbox Live. As someone pointed out, you will need to play a backwards compatible title to get into the Xbox 360 mode. I would find a title from the compatible

    list     and boot it up on both consoles. Once you have it loaded, see if he can now see you online.

    Not all games are backward compatible. You'll need to check the game itself to see if it's supported in backward compatibility mode.
