xbox live isn't working but I've had it for 3 months and it's saying I've already got Xbox live

My Xbox keeps saying I've got Xbox live when I haven't I'm trying to renew my subscription but it won't let me because it's already saying I've got Xbox live but it won't let me play online it just keeps telling me to pay for a month or 3 month or a year
when I've got a 14 day trial to tide me over until payday.. what do I do??

Why is it that every error post I've seen on these forums for the new update results in a member of xbox live staff saying that it's the users own fault. NO! IT ISN'T! I'm having the exact same problem as Slim Morrison and my xbox is 3/4 months old!!!!!!
250GB, latest model, glossy finish, built in wireless connector but no frikkin live because of this bleedin update. Seriously, it's 9 days later. Sort it out already and stop blaming everyone's router etc.

 

Fallout 4's Fallout 3 pre-order code doesn't work

Pretty much as the title says. I've had F4 pre-ordered for months, and got a message from Xbox Live with a code that I could redeem for Fallout 3. When I tried to do it, it said the code had already been used.

How do I get a working code and how did the 1 I was just sent for a digital purchase already used?
