Xbox live is not working on XBOX Classic

Hi, i have XBOX classic, but i can't to do the connection with the internet, says: visit:

Xbox Classic games on Xbox 360

If i want to play an xbox classic game on 360 and i dont have it officially

and i download it and burn it to a dvd if its working can i get banned form xbox live?

i have payed xbox live and i dont want to get banned

Live for the original Xbox was shut down years ago. It's no longer possible to connect on an original Xbox.
