Xbox live is not activated but my credit card was debited

The only accepted payment methods are PayPal, credit/debit card and in Germany direct debit, also the prepaid cards for Xbox Live and Xbox gift cards.

Unfortunately, you cannot use a Microsoft Account Balance or a Gift Card to pay for any subscription or to activate a subscription trial. Subscriptions must be paid for with a valid debit or credit card. You can also use PayPal, but it must be linked to a valid debit or credit card as well. Another option is to purchase a live subscription card at your local retailer.

I don't even have the option to choose between credit or debit in any online purchase. It asks for my card number, I put in my debit card number, and complete transaction. And that includes Xbox Live

• The credit or debit card company is blocking the transaction.

Contact your credit or debit card company or bank and make sure that the card you’re using was activated, has available funds, and the transaction is not being blocked for some reason.
