    is anyone else having a problem were you get disconnected from xbox live without a message popping up i know that xbox is being hacked by a bunch of nerdy twits but really xbox you need to do better then this if i lose my account i seriously will go crazy

    Many gamers are turning on their Xbox today and discovering that they cannot connect to Xbox Live, nor access Xbox.com to try and determine what is going on. Currently there’s no official reason as to why Xbox Live is down for many gamers, but Microsoft
    are certainly aware of the problem.

    The helpful bunch @XboxSupport are well aware of the problem and are currently being bombarded by a flurry of tweets demanding to know what’s going on, so please remember, folks, that these guys are trying to help you and they’re running flatout to try and
    solve the problem, so have some patience.

    “We are aware that many users are unable to connect to Xbox LIVE at this time as well. The issue is being investigated.” XboxSupport tweeted.

    Don’t panic; not everyone is effected with many gamers still perfectly able to access Live.

    So, what’s the best thing you can do if you are having problems? Simply have patience, the problem will hopefully be fixed soon

    The fact xbox has x amount of paying members and not one statement has come from them letting us know whats actualy happening is totaly unprofessional from a business perspective.. i can deal with not being able to get online because of an issue but at least
    keep us in the mix of whats actualy happening, not a load of BS that you are working hard to fix the problem i should bloody well thinl you are but what all xbox live members want to know is WHAT IS HAPPENING BEHIND THOSE CLOSED DOORS!!!

    Jesus! Would be good to know what's going on, for some people the weekend is the only time we get to use the *** thing. With this type of service I'm not shocked people constantly go on about PS4 being better.

    Its 'hackers' mate, PSN is being targeted also. I agree tho, an official word would be nice.

    I've been getting bounced off Live all night. Here's a link for the current XBox Live Service Status.

    It currently says:

    XBOX LIVE Service
    Users may experience difficulties with the following services:

    • Signing into Xbox LIVE from an Xbox console
    • Signing into Games for Windows – LIVE on a PC
    • Signing into Xbox LIVE from Xbox.com
    • Signing into the Xbox LIVE forums

    We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.

    Just one of those things we have to deal with while they roll out this update.
