Xbox Live is bogging down my internet.

What Country/State/Province do you live in? - Ohio

Modem brand & model number: Ubee DDM3521 - DOCSIS 3.0

Router brand & model number: NETGEAR WNR2000 V3

Wired or wireless: Wired

Things you have tried: I have attempted port forwarding, hard reset of the console. Reset of modem and router. I have also had My ISP out 3 times to see if there is an issue with my connection and all signals are good.

Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown- No

Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? Open NAT, No error

Any Error Codes you encounter: No error codes

Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Time Warner Cable

For the last month or so when playing games or downloading updates on my Xbox One, Xbox Live will ping my internet so much that my Ping will go from 19ms all the way up to 300+ms. My download speed will also drop to around 2-5mbps. Upload speeds
also suffer. The issues have nothing to do with my net, this started happening around the time that XBL had a DDoS attack and the rollout of 1409 to the public, and it hasn't been right since.

Halo reach download taking forever...

If you're talking about the code download I just did it myself. Only took an hour and a few more minutes for me to download the full 6.5 gigs. Someone might be using up bandwith where you live, not sure.

If anything check to see if anything is bogging down your internet.

Xbox firmware issues

Currently the firmware is a little glitchy and slow.. So far I have found that the mouse quits working on the Internet Explorer... I didn't know if this was the right way to bring this to your attention or not if not please let me know how to submit stuff
without bogging things down thank you

Just a bit more information, as I was typing out my Original post I was also downloading a 1410 Preview update on my Xbox One.

While the update was downloading I ran a speedtest at www.speedtest.net. It showed my ping at around 245ms with download speeds at 2.5mbps upload speeds at 0.80mbps.

Now that the update has finished downloading my ping is now back to 19ms. Download is back to 16.25mbps and upload is back to 1.25 mbps. Yes I have crappy speeds, but I have NEVER had this problem with Xbox Live.

Also I have now hooked up my Linksys WRT54GS2 router to see if that was a possible issue. It is doing the exact same thing. Also have had 3 different modems from Time Warner Cable with no luck.

I know there are several times in the day when the Xbox Servers are really bogged down. I also know that anytime my wife is streaming in 4K, and using facebook that the internet really takes a hit.

I am guessing that there is an influx of people using your internet provider, which is bogging down your internet, or it could be that there is a lot of people on the Xbox servers, which would cause slow download speeds.

My speeds were back to normal but I still bog down to 11 mbps or even 10 haven't seen it bog down to 1 or 3 like I used to see.
