    Xbox live is blocked for one or more accounts. Can’t access multiplayer.


    Hi all

    when i try any multiplayer i get the following msg:

    “Xbox live is blocked for one or more accounts. Accounts may have parental blocking in effect or may not be xbox live gold memberships.”

    There is no parental control in effect, and i do have a valid gold membership and pass.

    any help greatly appreciated.

    Decide to allow or block joining Xbox Live multiplayer games on Xbox One.

    Thats one of the things to allow or block and Ive allowed it. and i still cant access online stuff. it did this a couple months ago.

    Hello!

    It sounds like the Multiplayer Games are is being blocked in the privacy settings.

    In the online safety section it says:

    You can play with people outside of Xbox Live
    Decide to allow or block multiplayer gaming on other gaming services.

    --------

    And this gives you the option to allow or block multiplayer games.

    I accessed this by going through xbox.com

    Xbox.com > Sign-In > Click on profile picture > The '...' for more > Xbox Settings > "Privacy & Online Safety" > "Xbox One/Windows 10 Online

    unfortunately no one on the forums can unblock your account. If you could please be more specific about what is being blocked. Are you able to sign into Xbox LIVE? Or were you accessing sensitive information on your account and it requested a code to continue?
