    Xbox Live invitations being sent without me sending them


    There are invites being sent to join my Microsoft family account to an old member that I removed a while back. The member has been removed yet continues to accept the invites which I am not sending to the old member. I have changed my password and enabled
    two step verification yet the invites are still being sent. What can I do?

    Im still being told "Your message could not be sent." This includes when I try to send messages to recent players from the recent players list. My main ambition is to send a game invite to my friend to play "Special Ops" on MW2. It was working a few days ago but now it says "Game Invite Sent" on the top right of the screen but he never receives it, same thing when he sends me an invite, I never receive anything. I've been through a few troubleshooting including reseting my xbox. I believe this an xbox live problem on Microsofts end. I'm hoping not.

    Hello!

    The invite is not sent to you, it is sent to Microsoft. They need to approve you, then they will send you the message to the program. They send them out in waves. I hope this helps!

    Hi there,

    by reporting them doesn't have to result in them stopping to sent invites etc. Blocking the person should prevent them from messaging or sending invites to you.

    Preview Invites Sent (to me) But not received (By Me)

    A friend of mine had sent me an invite too, and it took nearly two days for me to receive the invite from Xbox. I'm assuming the invite does not get sent directly from your friend, it's more like getting recommended to the preview program by your friend,
    then Microsoft approves, and sends out the official invite.
