xbox live - how to get family access?

i have a microsoft family account set up.. I'm the adult/parent and have children with accounts. my oldest son purchased xbox live gold and has it on his account. when my other son plays forza and wants to be in an online session, my oldest son must log
into his own account on the xbox before my younger son can start an online forza session under his (younger son's) account. Is there a way to avoid having to have my oldest son login on the xbox to initiate xbox live access/content for everyone else? I was
wondering if it was on my account/profile as the parent then would all kids have access without having to have anyone else log in?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are interested in knowing how your younger son can utilize your older son's Xbox Live Gold subscription without having your older son log in to his account first. There is a feature on
the Xbox One called
my home Xbox. This allows a single account to share it's games, Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass to all other accounts on the console. Your older son will need to log in to his account to set this up, but once it is completed he will no longer need to
log in to his account to share the features. The article we provided explains the feature and how to set it up. Be sure to let us know the results!

The oldest son would need to set the console as his Home console in order to share his gold. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox

If you were to add the gold to the parent account, the parent account would have to set the console as its Home.

Why would I lose Xbox Live Gold by removing myself from the family pack when I paid for Xbox live? That doesn't seem fair. I do not recall seeing anything saying that i would no longer have access to xbox live. How do i get it back? I cant re-add myself
because this is the only account i use. The leader of the Family account is deleted and and i do not remember the email.

I suggest you to set the parental controls for that console. The Xbox 360 console lets you customize and manage your family's access to games, movies, and television content. The Xbox 360 parental controls can be used to control both the console itself and
access to content on Xbox Live, including:

Which games can be played.

Which movies and TV shows can be watched.

How long each family member can use the console on a daily or weekly basis.

Whether or not a family member can access Xbox Live.
