Xbox Live has no life on this console

hi, have decided it's time to go online with Xbox live and it just won't work no matter what I try. This problem is only with my console so it's not the wireless connection or modem as my partners boy has bought his consol here with him and can connect and
play Xbox live on the exact same Internet connection and modem that my consol can't. Reading the help section and forum sticky I have tried resetting the modem, reset the network to factory defaults and even tried redoing the consol initial setup but alway
get the same error and can't log into Xbox live...as per the forum sticky here is the information I have that will hopefully be enough for someone to help get this particular consol hooked up onto Xbox live

Won't sign in with my offline profile from the consol or with a fresh sign up to Xbox live at all and won't let me download my profile with nothing signed in...as before this only seems to be happening on this consol and other consols connected on this wireless
network do work....any help getting this working appreciated.

Hello, it could be that your console is faulty and might need to be fixed. In this case you might need to contact Xbox customer support as it could be a problem with your console

 

Your console is fine, myself and many others can't connect. Don't listen to these files saying your machine or internet is faulty.

 

I cannot connect either! Ever since Thursday July 16th! And none of my apps work! Youtube,WWE,ect.

 

Yes , Thursday the 16th is the day it all started. And nobody seems to give a ***. I'm getting really *** off.

 

Hello again it could be a maintenance issue so check the Xbox Live service page (support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status). You can also clear your system cache as this can also
solve the issue.

 

Console was faulty, other consoles worked on this network but not this one and this console would not work on another network I tried whic had working consoles on it. Sent the unit back for service and a new console arrived today, plugged it in and it worked
straight away... Yay problem solved
