Xbox live hacked

Last night, I was playing COD 4 multiplayer, when I killed another player n the room, it kicked me out, kicked me off xbox live and reset my XP to -19000000000 so I can not play online. I tried 4 other games and can not play any online. What can I do? Also,
the guy on chat told me to post what happened, with the name of the player I know did this, even tho I could get banned for it.

Xbox LIVE has not been hacked.

Sounds like you were a victim of a Denial of Service attack instead of a 'hacking'. Read the info here

support.xbox.com/.../dos-attacks-faq and contact your ISP if you still have problems and concerns, as such attacks are illegal.

Please file a complaint on the user's gamertag profile for system tampering and the Enforcement Team will be happy to deal with all hackers, modders and or cheaters. The Xbox forums is not the place to report this type of thing.

 

This is not a report of the situation. Its a question posted to my peers, possibly those who have found themselves in a similar situation, asking for a way to fix my situation. I was hoping for a quick solution and where better to find it when the company
points you toward the game manufacturer and the game manufacturer points you to the console support? If the support personnel tell me to post my situation here, should I listen to them or just sit and hope it fixes itself, all the while my hard earned money
is being flushed down the drain as my Xbox Live is useless at this time? What should I do until tech support investigates and then finds a solution and then attempts to fix my problem, which, as I was told by the support specialist, could be a month or more?
I thought part of the forum was for individual users to share information and converse about the good and the bad and if there are problems, ways to fix them without backlogging tech support thereby assisting the company and keeping the people they rely on
fiscally happy, or at the very least satisfied.

 

Go to the infinity ward/activision website, they have a repair tool to restore your rank.

Microsoft will do nothing to help with situations like this other than taking your report.

 

I don't think Infinity Ward even cares about the hacking and modding in Modern Warfare anymore... That game is so outdated that it's not even worth trying to control the chaos. Same goes for World at War... Seems you're out of luck. You could try reporting
the problem but it most likely won't get you anywhere.

 

Infinity Ward took care of the problem, but the real issue was that the hacker has affected my ability to play any of my games online. I cant use Xbox Live. That is the problem. I did everything the support and forums have told me even had my IP address
changed, but nothing fixed it.

 

It is not possible for a hacker on cod4 to permanently knock you offline on all games.

If you have been booted offline it only takes a reset of your router to get it back.

If resetting you router is not doing this you have a problem elsewhere with your internet service.

It is possible for you not to be able to play cod 4 online if you are in negative numbers,thats where you need the reset tool from infinity wards website.

 

i really doubt it was a hack more than a glitch, i would call support and see what they can do to help

Like I said. I talked to support and followed every direction, even had my IP address changed like I was instructed...nothing. Infinity Ward has been very helpful, seeing as they were not supposed to support COD4 any longer...My Xbox live is useless right
now...I can sign in, but not a single game can be played online. My Wii and my PS3&4 have no problems.

 

I was threatened by someone and he kicked me off xBox live. His gamer tag was
[Mod Removed]. He also has gotten my smart phone number and continues to text me 300 times. We are unable to get on my account on Xbox live. What to do now?
