    Xbox Live Gold


    I got my fist Xbox on Monday. Logged on, put in the code for free 2 weeks free Xbox Live Gold trial and everything worked fine. On Tuesday I noticed that I don’t have Live Gold anymore. I called customer support helpline on Wednesday and talked with
    Alex. He asked for activation codes that I got with my console and I sent him pictures of them. He told me that that code got somehow assigned to a different account. I have my account with Microsoft for number of years and I never created another one. He
    agreed that I was valid codes but said that I could not get it back. I asked to speak with a supervisor but was told I couldn’t. How is it that I have that valid code but can not get the service at the same time?

    Hi there,

    just to be sure, regarding the 'different' account story, when you login at
    https://account.xbox.com/Profile     does it show a different Gamertag then when you login on the console? If that is the case then somehow multiple Xbox Live Accounts are connected to the same Microsoft Account and you will have to contact Xbox Support for
    advise/steps on how to solve that.

    Regarding the valid code used but not being able to use it, since it's a trial and since Support via Phone/Chat says nothing can be done, I'm not sure anybody in the forums will be able to assist either.

    If you mean xbox live gold yes....because xbox live is the xbox online service platform and xbox live gold is the subscription, and non gold subscribers are still connected to xbox live always.
