    It is not possible to purchase Xbox Live Gold using Microsoft account funds. You will need a valid payment method (debit/credit card, Paypal, or some other service in your region) or you will need to add a prepaid Xbox Live Gold membership card.

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue.

    What was previously posted is correct, you cannot yet purchase Xbox Live Gold or game pass subscriptions with Microsoft Funds.

    Now if you're getting the error that you are, it would seem that you are behind on a payment that was set to be charged through a card that got declined. If that is the case, then I would suggest reading through and completing the steps here on our support

    If you mean xbox live gold yes....because xbox live is the xbox online service platform and xbox live gold is the subscription, and non gold subscribers are still connected to xbox live always.
