I found that IGN did promoted for Microsoft that the 12-month membership cost $39.99, but it was in July.........................

 

The promotion is still ongoing and is targeted towards people who have subscriptions that are expiring soon. It is currently on my screen as I type this. I did the same thing and am having the same issue. Here's screenshots of the offer: Ad on Xbox

I have this Problem too ! in my opinion they should fire they`re staff becauce their Job is useless when you get a offer for Nothing.

 

I think this promotn had a time limit to get the lower price

Definitely. They are now even using volunteers as human shields so I really don't get it why the hell does Microsoft still keeps staff. Why not replace the staff with AI as well??? They never deal with customers personally anyway.
