    Xbox live gold


    My friend downloaded the games with gold and we have the same home xbox. His gold subscriptions have expired but I still have mine. However I can't seem to play any games from gold as it says the person who downloaded it has to get gold again. My question
    is how can I download the current games with gold under my name since I still have it so I can play them again. Any ideas or help?

    Hi there,

    As your friend purchased the games, he will have to re-purchase a Gold subscription to access the games again. Xbox 360 titles are to keep permanently, but you lose access to the Xbox One games if your
    subscription lapses. If you re-subscribe, your friend will have access again.

    To access the games yourself, you will have needed to redeem the games to your account, where you will have a license for each.

    Hi, to download the Games with Gold under your name simply go to the

    Games with Gold     page, click on a game, which will take you to the store, make sure you are signed in with your account, and click the 'Get' button.

    Indeed your friend would need to get his gold subscription again for you to be able to access the games he obtained through his Xbox Live account. Now for the download of the free games with gold on your Live account you can get them by either going online
    to our
    Games with Gold     section.

    Or from your Xbox One you can go to the Store and find the games with gold there and be able to obtain them as well.

    If you mean xbox live gold yes....because xbox live is the xbox online service platform and xbox live gold is the subscription, and non gold subscribers are still connected to xbox live always.
