    If you went next gen and purchased an Xbox One then good news. Your gold membership is still active and can be used not only for yourself but anyone else on the Xbox One console. Just make sure they are added to your family in the settings and everyone
    will be able to enjoy the pleasures of your gold membership.

    Lol, I purchased a PS4, after 3 360's and no help at all from MS, and not one issue with my PS3 and only one replacement PS2 after 4 years (it was free!) I felt the PS4 was a much better investment in time and money, and $100 cheaper to boot as I have zero
    interest in kinect. I guess it is lost then... better to lose that 8 months than suffer through another dose of MS arrogance imo.

    Xbox live Gold

    Im having a tenure problem and i cant prove that i have been with xbox live almost 10 years now. Apparently when i switched to the 360 my tenure started over in their system. Dose anyone know of a way to see when my xbox live gamer tag was first registered?
    I know i played for almost 3 years on the regular xbox and traded up to the 360 in 2006. (The only way i have proved that i was on in 2006 was to show the tech my Halo 2 service record and that only got me up to when i traded up.)

    However, at the beginning of the 360's run tenure was cancelled out if you lost your Gold membership for any length of time. It has only been within the last few years (since 2009) that tenure was kept stored if you reverted to silver for a length of time.

    If you mean xbox live gold yes....because xbox live is the xbox online service platform and xbox live gold is the subscription, and non gold subscribers are still connected to xbox live always.
