Xbox Live Gold (XLG) and upgrading to Ultimate Game Pass (UGP)

Is cdkeys.com a reliable option, having a 1 year xlg for around 45 euro (-24% deal at the moment)?

Can someone please confirm that the initial 1:1 conversion of X-box live gold/game pass to Ultimate game pass time is still in effect for the Black Friday 3 month offer.

Because the terms and conditions/FAQ I'm reading are contradictory.

From the T&C's:

"Note: Purchase of Ultimate plan automatically upgrades your existing Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass membership(s) to Ultimate
at a conversion ratio each based on days remaining. Learn how this works at www.xbox.com/gamepass. Future code redemptions are also subject to a conversion ratio."

And at the above address, one of the FAQ's state:

"When you join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, we will apply any prepaid time you have on Xbox Live Gold and/or Xbox Game Pass toward Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, up to a maximum of 36 months.

For example, if you have 3 months of Xbox Live Gold and 3 months of Xbox Game Pass already on your account when you purchase your first month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, you will have a total of 7 months of Ultimate on your account before you need to renew
your membership."

So it's clear that this faq implies a 1:1 conversion but it has obviously not been updated for the current 3 month offer so can it be trusted? Especially since the first quote from the T&C's clearly implies that the conversion ratios in effect are the same
for both the initial upgrade as well as future redemptions.

And this brings us to the convertion ratios themselves. I'm bewildered as to why the transfer benefit falls from 2/3rds for 1 month, to only a 1/3rd for 12/24 months. Not sure how this is justified. No idea what the '(1+ month)' and '(2+ month)' is referring
to either.

As for allowing xbox live gold codes to be redeemed by Ultimate accounts? I think there's going to be a lot of angry people/parents in the near future when they realise that they have been duped into paying for 4 months of a much more expensive subscription,
when they believed they had purchased 12 months of X-box live Gold, only to have it converted in stealth. But I guess that seems to be a PR nightmare Microsoft are willing to suffer for the extra revenue this will surely accumulate. Good luck with that btw.

Anyway, my dilema right now is that I have no clue whether or not to, like the OP, add some extra XBL subscription before upgrading to UGP or not. Unless I know exactly what is happening with these conversion rates first.

If you don't want (or simply can't) buy it on official Microsoft Store, I suggest you to buy online codes only on trusted site/store like Amazon, avoid site where you buy it directly from other users because the scam risk is very high.
