Xbox Live Gold won't work

Online it says I have it but won't let me use it. Just updated to gold like three weeks ago and it was working fine now I can't do anything. Tried deleting account, didn't work. Tried a hard reset and that didn't work either. Glad I pay for a service I can't
use.

Xbox live gold won't work

So I have Xbox live gold and it expires in October 2017, but for some reason I can't play online on any of my games. What's going on? When I try to play online a message shows up to tell me to subcribe to gold to be allowed to play online, whicht I am and
if I try to become a gold member (again), it tells me I already am.... Frustrating...

I'm assuming you're refering to this raptr promotion
raptr.com/.../xbox-live-free-gold-subscription. This promotion only works if you currently have an Xbox silver account, if you're currently a gold member the promotion code won't work.

I'm waiting for someone to say "Check your Gold subscription. Has it expired?" Xbox Live won't work without it.

It looks like you have Xbox Live Gold judging from your profile. Are you still having trouble with your subscription or is everything squared aware for you now?

For things like netflix and IE you need xbox live gold. If you only have a silver accouterments those apps won't work. But yet updates will still work just fine. Not sure if your gold or not. Hope this helps some.
