Xbox Live Gold won't activate. Please help.

Earlier today I renewed my Xbox Live, on the console, not the website, and I did the 1 month, but it won't make my account Gold again. I did this around 4:00 PM in the afternoon (May 14th 2014) Why isn't it activating? Should it be taking this long, or should
I try it again? Maybe this time on the computer? Please help.

Good day, I bought a code for xbox live gold. when you try to activate it via the website xbox.live.com and console xbox one I get an error XBOS1005 "something went wrong". For the second day, it is impossible to activate the code. Help me please. region

You mean when I first made the account? I don't remember. But yesterday I just had to renew it because I ran out of Gold a couple days ago, and I picked the 1 month for $10 option and apparently I still don't have Gold again.

 

Check Sign in to your Microsoft account to see if it shows anything in your subscriptions or transactions.

If you used prepaid card, try the card again. If you purchased it directly from Xbox, the billing site will show if the transaction went through. If it didn't go through you may need to try purchasing it again.

If you can't use the card again, or you were billed, you would need to contact support directly 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

Drizzy DrakeXBL, I think it may be on Xbox Live's end. I bought a pre-paid code yesterday and tried using it, but it said could not be completed because of the Xbox service. However, I got a confirmation email of it.

Xbox says it didn't redeem, everything else says otherwise.

 

Thank you guys for the help, I tried it again (the fourth time trying) and it worked. But there must be a serious problem with Xbox or something because the first two times I tried it on the console, it was stuck on the little circle loading thing for awhile
and then the page for upgrading (after I clicked the 1 month option) just disappeared, then the first time trying it on the computer (about an hour ago) it did the same thing, the circle loading icon wouldn't go away or load the next page, and I waited and
that lasted about 15 minutes. After that I reloaded the page and tried again and it worked.

 

There was a service alert yesterday that would have been the problem then, I'm not sure why there would have been issues this morning though. Glad it ended up working out though.
