    Xbox Live Gold tenure seems to have been reset


    I have been an Xbox Live Gold member for many years now, come this December, I was going on 6 years with this account. Technically, I've been using the service since around the time of Halo 2's release which would make it about 10 or 11 years. With that
    said, I'm hoping to find some answers here, if this is the right place. Nevertheless, I noticed my tenure being reset for some time, since I was trying to sign up again for Enforcement United a few months back but could not because my tenure was under the
    required number. Which was completely weird since I was already in the program before hand and all of a sudden, now that I've checked back to see if I'd been given back my tenure, it's still not there.

    If anyone can be of any help, I'd appreciate some feedback soon, thanks.

    Tenure reset to zero Xbox Live Gold tenure seems to have been reset :(

    My tenure has been reset to zero after I let my Xbox live account revert to silver after it was due for renewal on 14/8/13.

    I've now re-subscribed to gold but my tenure has been reset? I thought it was cumulative? I'd had at least three years of cumulative gold membership before now. So surely that should still show?

    Hi CaptainKush....the number you are referring to is not the age of your gamer tag, it is the age of your tenure with Xbox Live Gold. If you were unable to play Xbox for a couple of years then you're tenure was reset back to zero. You can only go a couple
    of months without gold on your account before it gets reset back to zero. The tenure is how long you have been a "consistent" gold subscriber. Hope that explains it.

    You shouldn't need to worry about your tenure resetting. If your subscription has lapsed at all your tenure won't show. Once you renew your subscription it may take a bit of time for it to show back up, but it will start back from where your tenure left

    But that's the thing, my Xbox Live Gold hasn't been interrupted or cancelled in any way. When I spoke to Customer Support on the phone, they told me they had no record of my subscription from 2012 to 2015 which is completely off because I have been a consistent
    member since 2010. Come to find out that the next Customer Support Agent I had talked to had to dig deeper just to find out that was the truth. Anyway, I was also told to wait and see if it fixes itself, which is what I aim to do for the time being. I appreciate
    the additional input though.

    I am having the same issue. I have been a subscriber of Xbox Live Gold for over 10 years. To be precise, on March 3, 2016, it will be exactly 11 years. There have been no subscription lapses within that time and yet my '10' icon has disappeared from my
