Xbox live gold tenure not showing correctly

Recently my Xbox live ran out so I renewed it and for some reason it's taken 3 years of the little circle under my Gamertag when people click on my profile. I'm not sure as to why this has happened but I contacted someone on the chat line and they said it
appears to be accurate and said I never had Xbox live gold during 2010-13 even though I have multiplayer achievements on game such as battlefield 3 which came out in 2012 so how can I have multiplayer achievements without actually having Xbox live gold to
play multiplayer. It just doesn't add up. I really want this sorted out as I've put a lot of time into Xbox and the little circle under my name with how many years i have had it and shows the dedication I put into it. It really means a lot to me to have that
7 under my name as that is what it was before.

Xbox live tenure showing incorrectly

Hey there! Looking into your account, your tenure is correctly showing as 1 year.

The way tenure is calculated has recently changed. Long story short, you only accrue tenure while subscribed to an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

tenure wrong on xbox one, right on xbox 360

The tenure on my live account is showing as 7 years on my xbox one, but on my 360 is showing correctly as 8 years. Any reason why?

Tenure is now calculated from gold time only, if there was any time in between then and now that you were silver/ free account then your tenure has been changed to what it should correctly show

If you used any 1-month cards it may have lapsed during your time on Xbox Live. There isn't a way to force your tenure to show correctly, but it should update to the correct tenure after some time so long as you keep your Xbox Live Gold subscription up to
date.

Keep an eye out on your tenure to update to the appropriate time, I'm afraid there isn't an ETA as to when you might see that change. Thanks for your patience!

[/quote]Sorry but this is incorrect. Any Method of Payment for Xbox LIVE will have Tenure added after each year. I've had CC for two years and Pre-Paid for three years, showing the Tenure of 5. Even if a Pre-paid of three months
is used for over a year (or a one month if still available) it will show Tenure.

The Tenure shows after the Year is up and a new year is paid for. Sorry but you must have either started in 2009 or have had a lapse in time that did not count as a Silver Profile. In addition, the first Month Free Xbox LIVE that everyone is given does not
apply to Tenure. So if an Account was created in December 2008 it won't reflect 1 year Tenure until January 2010.
