    Hello,

    I have been having an issue that I have never had before regarding my Xbox Live account on the Xbox One specifically. About one month ago I received an email saying this:

    "We have been unable to charge your credit card for your Xbox Live Prepaid 1 month Gold Membership Card subscription(s) being billed to you through Microsoft Online Services. The following credit card is the current payment method on your billing account:

    (credit card type)

    Avoid interruption of your subscription service by providing a valid credit card and a current expiration date. If we do not receive your credit card payment within 21 days of this notice, access to your subscription service will be suspended."



    Sadly, I did not see this email in time to try to fix the issue of which I am still uncertain. I have many questions. The first of which is why I was being charged for a one month subscription in the first place. The only reason I can think for
    this would be that I used a redeemable code for a 1 month live trial around that time. The trial should have been free, obviously, and I had assumed it would simply tack on a free month at the end of my subscription this year.

    Second, the credit card that is associated with my Xbox Live Gold account for auto renewal is not expired for another few months yet so why is it that it couldn't be charged?

    Third, why is my account suspended and how can I fix that? At first, I had thought that my Gold account had simply expired. I tried both credit cards associated with my account and both times, Xbox Live informed me that I could not have any more
    gold subscriptions linked to my gamertag at this time. I also tried using some free, 2-day trials included with some Xbox One games I had and had never used prior. Each code came back with a message saying:

    "You already have a Gold membership. Give this code to a friend who does not have one."

    This would imply that I still have an active Gold subscription, yet when I try to play any online multiplayer it informs me that I am "restricted from this service".

    This has been an ongoing problem for about 2 or 3 days now. I just want to know how to get my Gold subscription back so I can get back to playing with my friends. Any help is appreciated.

    Since this is a billing issue, you would need to contact support directly. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or
    support.xbox.com/contact-us

    You can also check subscriptions you have on your account at
    http://commerce.microsoft.com
    as well as the credit card information to make sure the information is correct.

    Got it set straight. The second link you provided took me to where I needed to be to address the problem and change the billing. The account is active again. Thanks again for the help!

  7. I have the exact same problem, but I live in Norway (Don't think that matters.)

    A month ago, my Xbox Live ran out and I bought a new Xbox 360 cause my last one died completely.

    I charged a month of Xbox Live Membership that i got with the new Xbox, and I was playing again just fine.

    Today it ran out again, and I was going to renew it. (Cause I don't have Auto-Renew.)

    As I log on my account, this message appears:

    "Your membership is suspended until you pay for it. You'll need to do this on another device. On a PC or mobile device, go to
    account.microsoft.com/paynow and fix how you pay for your membership."

    As it said that, I went on the link and It said I was suspended on "1-month subscription to Xbox LIVE Gold with prepayment" and that I had to pay 56 Dollars to unsuspend it, which is ridiculous.

    What do I do? I just want to go back and play with my best friends.

    Are you banned of suspended on xbox live? Check enforcement.xbox.com.

    Also, are you currently subscribed to Xbox Live Gold?

    Win 10 on Xbox One cant buy Xbox Live Gold.

    Sounds like you already have Xbox Live Gold, and if you cannot use it, your subscription may have been suspended due to non collection of payment. You will want to check this out on
    http://account.live.com or calling Xbox support.. If this is the issue, you just need to pay the back balance and then you can use Gold again.

    Should un suspend your subscription and then you will be immediately on Xbox Live Gold again!

    AUTO RENEWAL !!!

    When i obtained Gold for My account i came to this site and Turned off auto renewal and here i am a month later and suspended for something i turned off when i bought gold i took the required steps to NOT GET SUSPENDED and still ended up getting suspended.
    This Angers me Greatly been on xbox live since 2008
