    Xbox live gold subscription


    Hi, I have just signed up to xbox live gold through the xbox website. Once I had put in all of my information a message appeared say the payment couldn't be authorised and to contact my bank. I rang my bank immediately and they informed me that my account
    was fine and that xbox live had sent a request and the bank had approved it. I still cannot access games requiring a gold account. Has this happened to anyone else? If so is there something else I should be doing? TIA

    Hey there Windsor1999 Xbox live gold subscription :)



    Did you ensure that all your billing information was correct? It might be worth double checking just to make sure. There is a guide on how to do this on the below link.

    If everything is correct, then it might be worth contacting phone support and speaking to the billing department. They should be able to identify the problem on their end. You can request a call from them by heading over to the 'Contact Us' page.



    Also, have you tried using your payment option from the console itself?

    I don't have anything to add to Cloud's post, but I noticed his link for the Contact Us page has gotten a little mangled in editing. Use this one:

    support.xbox.com/contact-us

    I also noticed the link for the support article had the same issue, so here's that one too:

    Other than that follow the instructions Cloud laid out in his post Xbox live gold subscription :)

    • Prepaid codes for Xbox Live Gold trial subscriptions are only available in select games and bundles.
    • You can’t access Games with Gold for the Xbox 360 with this type of Xbox Live Gold trial subscription.
    • You can’t stack prepaid codes for Xbox Live Gold trial subscriptions from games or console bundles. This means that you can’t start another trial period before your current trial period has finished. However, you can purchase a new paid Xbox Live Gold subscription
      and start the subscription at any time during the trial period.
    • If you don’t currently have a paid Xbox Live Gold subscription, there is no limit to the number of times you can use this type of Xbox Live Gold trial subscription.
