xbox live gold subscription not enabled

Hello,

I have an Xbox One and my 12 month Xbox live subscription (purchased from cdkeys) came to an end yesterday (28/04) so I purchased a new one yeterday. When I applied the code on the Xbox it looked like it had worked but it is not showing in subscriptions
and I now cannot use any of the Xbox Live functionality. When I try and re-apply the code it says it has been redeemed, but apart from what looks like it below in "Order history", there is nothing in Subscriptions and I cannot use any of the Live Gold functionality.
It's like the code has not been applied at all.

Any idea what is going on here please?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums with your inquiry. The difference between Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Gamepass is basically what the two subscriptions do. Xbox Live Gold is a paid subscription that enables you to be able to play online multiplayer with
your friends around the world. Xbox Live Gold also gives you access to Games with Gold and Deals with Gold. Xbox Gamepass is basically a paid subscription that enables your account to have access to the Xbox Gamepass Library of games that you are able to install
and play just by maintaining your subscription. Xbox Gamepass is for use on an Xbox One only.

Hey there mnoetic.

Taking a look at your profile, it doesn't appear you have Xbox Live Gold. In order to play online you'll need an Xbox Live Gold subscription enabled on your account.

Thanks for your reply: Tried on PC but only after redeeming on Xbox forst when it looked like it worked. It says it has already been redeemed which is what I'd expect I think as forst time on Xbox looked like it had worked (until I tried to use it).
