due to everythigh that is going on people will be low on income and will not be able to efford anything but the essentials so why doesn't microsoft make it so people dont have to pay to play online with friends because they will be stuck at home with nothing
else to do and it will possable make more people switch to xbox becuase of this due to playstation not doing this I this this could make microsoft a lot of money in the long run because they could do something special for the people that are still willing
to pay for the game pass subscription or live gold if so like more availability of games to there game library and once this all end you could start charging people again.

You need a Gold Subsciption to Xbox Live to play online multiplayer. Xbox has two types of Live servce Xbox Free and Xbox Gold, Free subscription will not allow you to play online. You can purchase a Gold Subsciption through the Xbox Marketplace from the
Xbox Dashboard.

I have two subsciptions that say “Xbox Live Gold” and the other “Gold- 1 Month”. Main game that is played is Fortnite but i think I can cancel the “Gold- 1 month”

Well xbox 360 had the games with gold but you could still play without gold subsciption

they will not do that, it's free money, they only need the live servers for where your profiles are stored and there first party titles, they make a fortune. all other games servers are paid for and managed by the devs/publishers

The only reason that live gold is a thing is because of the xbox 360 were they had to replace a lot of them for free and they have made all of that money back by now so there is no reason for us to pay for the right to play with our friends online
