Xbox live gold status not recognized by games

Hello,

I've been having a pretty weird issue for two days now. I've decided on trying the free one month live gold trial. After activating my gold membership, I do not have access to any of the gold membership features including online play. The subscription is
active, it's visible both on the subscription tab on the console and on the microsoft account hub. I still keep getting the "try gold free on us" tile on my One, even though everything SHOULD be active. I'd appreciate any help you can give me, I've tried logging
in and out and hard resetting of the console, but nothing worked.

Live Gold Status not recognized

Hello Support,

I renewed my gold subscription two weeks ago and it is valid until 2018.

My problem now is, that the rewards program does not recognize that gold subscription.

What can I or You do to solve the problem?

Hello NoT xIglo,

There is currently an issue where subscriptions from preview program members are not being correctly identified, due to some changes with how subscriptions for these members are categorized in the database. We are currently working with another team on correctly
receiving these subscriptions. Apologies for the inconvenience. Once this issue is resolved, your Gold Status should be reflected as intended.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing Gold features! You mentioned you tried signing out and back in. Have you by chance tried

Removing your Gamertag and then adding it back to see if there's any change then? If not. let's give that a try to see how it goes.

Hello DannyWC,

We see that you are not receiving Gold Status this month due to your subscription being a promotional Gold subscription for 1 month. Promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards, so your free 1 month is not eligible. From our FAQ:

My Xbox Live Rewards account is not recognizing my Xbox Live Gold membership. What should I do?

Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.

Hello Diabetic Pride! Usually when this happens, either you can wait until the servers recognize your Gold status (which can take a few hours), or you can Test your Connection to Xbox LIVE. The latter will make sure your Gold status is synced immediately.

We are still waiting but they are at least now posting updates and recognizing the issue on the status page:
