Xbox Live Gold Sharing stopped working suddenly after using it the night before.

So I have seen this issue happen in the past and a quick possible few fixes will be the following...

• Make sure your friend didn't have someone else set their account as a home Xbox as they could compete with one another.
• Remove the account that is sharing the gold from your home Xbox, then re-add it as your home Xbox.
• Remove the home-account from the Xbox entirely, sign back in, then add that account that is sharing the gold as your home Xbox again.
• Make sure the account that is sharing the gold actually has gold currently. (This is obvious, but for sake of option this is a mistake people make sometimes)
• Check that Xbox Live services are currently working fine, by going to https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

Ok since it is apparently affecting certain accounts, let´s try clearing their cache

Delete account Cache

Remove Account:

1. Press the Xbox button.

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then Remove.

4. Close.

Power Cycle:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Wait for 5 minutes and then turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Add Account:

1. Press the Xbox button.

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

3. Enter the Email Address and the Password.

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console again.

After that, try to play the games online again.

Are they just having issues finding a match or are they straight up being asked to buy a subscription?

Hi, thanks. It was asking them to buy a subscription for Live Gold. My son went ahead and added a subscription because he wanted to play, but he still can't get into a live natch for For Honor matches. It recognizes he has Gold in his name now but never finds a match. Neither of them has had any problem with any of this before.. They've been playing off my Live Gold for years, no issues

Hove you set up the xbox one to share the xbox gold on the console.

I had the same problem with one kn mine and after I shared my xbox gold live subscription it worked again
