    Xbox live gold sharing not working


    So my friend has Xbox live gold, and he shared his account with me so that i could have it as well. I made his account as my home xbox and i was able to download the games he has but when i look at the membership section it only says i have the “Xbox game
    pass endless play” membership and not the gold so i cant play games online. Please help me if you know why this is.

    Yes, it works that way. I have two Xbox One's in my house and share gold between them. You just need to make sure to activate it.

    sharing Xbox live gold membership only works on the Xbox One. unfortunately on Xbox Live, everyone will need a gold membership to be able to talk to each other and play games together.
