Xbox live gold sharing and backward compatibility

Does xbox live gold sharing not carry over to the backward compatibility end of the XBone? Trying to use an older account with some cloud saves for Fall Out New Vegas, but it wont let me sign into live in the emulator. it makes me play offline. I have another
account on the XBone with gold, set as home xbox and xbox live gold sharing enabled.

Games with Gold Titles Included in Backward Compatibility

When backward compatibility launches in November, all future Xbox 360 Games with Gold titles will be playable on Xbox One. That means Xbox Live Gold members now will get more free games to play each month on Xbox One.

Backwards compatibility is going to be deemed a success or failure depending on the publishers..

i actually thought they should have made Xbox Live Gold membership the sole requirements to using Backwards Compat

You don't need to have gold to access backwards compatibility so that should not be hindering your ability to play. Is the account you're using on X1 the account that you used previously on xbox 360?

No gold.shating doesn't carry over to 360 accounts

Only the main account would have gols.benefits

In order to use the cloud storage of the other account you must have gold on it

You don't need gold to play xbox 360 backwards titles but in order to use gold benefits on the 360 games you need actual gold

If only one account has gold then that account can get onto xbox live on any console regardless of the "my home xbox" feature.

Xbox live sharing does not work on xbox 360, so you will need more subscriptions for each other account that doesn't have gold.

On the xbox one the my home xbox feature will share xbox live gold and digital games (not all DLC) to all other accounts on that console when the account with gold is the "my home xbox" account but that does not share to backwards compatible games on xbox
one.

Yes, the xbox live gold shares between the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One on one account, so if you have gold one one you have it on the other for free, just log in on the same account on both devices, but only one can be online once at a time.

The My Home Xbox feature to share gold does not share across to xbox 360 backwards compatible or the real xbox 360, so if they need to use the xbox 360, they will each need gold to play on that console.

About the xbox 360 gamer profile reset, can you explain more about that? If you mean moving to Xbox one from the xbox 360, your achievements are not reset - but you may have to rebuild your progress on the Xbox one version of the game if it's not backwards
compatible from xbox 360.

What account is having the issue? The account you are posting with or the silver account that is sharing your Gold on Xbox One? Keep in mind that the Home Gold Sharing DOES NOT carry over to Xbox 360 and backwards compatible games, since it is not a feature
on that console.

If you're using the My Home Xbox feature to get your gold (if you're sharing with a friend that doesn't live with you that's against the rules), that feature does not extend to backwards compatible games - if you need to use them online you will need to
purchase your own gold on your account.
