XBOX Live Gold service has become an unreliable service.

The premium XBL Gold service I pay for, and have for like 8-10 years has become an unreliable service to the point of it taking away from the enjoyment of gaming, and wasting actual time having to decipher some form of a riddle in order to get online gaming
and communications to run. Party chat used to be a great feature, but honestly it seems like the module has changed to a user hosted function causing to many problems for its worth. The amount of disconnections is absurd and having to pull the plug on my console
in order to get it back from a disconnection is ridiculous. The amount of service issues has been ongoing for the majority of 2015, while I prefer xbox gaming with my friends I am seriously considering going to PlayStation as they are having far less service
issues than xbox.

Tonight alone I dropped from party chat 7 times, 3 of which I had to power cycle my xbox one to get back into party chat. I lost game connection and xbox one connection 2 times which resulted in having to power cycle to get back online.

It is NOT my network, or my internet provider. This is all recent (2015) issues with NO changes on my network have even tested a wired connection directly to my router with the same issues. My NAT type is open, I download at 54 LB/s, and upload at 16 MB/s,
my xbox one ping is 10 ms. My xbox 360 is identical performance for network connection.

I am far from the only one with these issues, and is quite obvious xbox live network issues, every single day there is numerous services down resulting in poor performance and disconnections. On any given week limited social and gaming is a notice 3-5 times
a week. The uptime guarantee is a failure, and should result in refunds of service. Without question I would prefer to stay on xbox, but without a serious improvement of service I wont be part of the xbox experience really soon simply because the once great
reliability has clearly become crap and unmaintained. Seriously frustrated and tired of wasting my time for an unreliable service that I pay for, and pay for the games to use on the unreliable network.

Side note: I have followed every single help file, network setting file, etc,. in order to resolve prior to posting. But also need to take into account, I have made no network changes during the time of this becoming a daily occurrence.

Not exactly impressed when ive tried signing in multiple times for a hour, to no luck, xbox live will not let me sign in, i pay alot of money for a service which, to be honest could be better. The xbl has been screwed since that dash update , sometimes it
holds up but other times it just complete sh*t. Hope you find a permanent fix or ill be going to ps3.

Firstly, I can assure you, Sony also has issues with their service, that go on for longer than Xbox's.

Xbox is currently working on the Party Chat issues via the Preview Program, and some of the issues have already had fixes rolled out.

Please go to Settings > Network > Detailed Network Statistics and let me know what it shows.

 

Having the same issues. There are all these solutions but none of them work. There just seems to be no resolve to this. Dreadful service.

It is an issue every single day. I know you are helping the best you can but saying Sony has the same problems just don't last as long as Xbox is a lame response. That's like saying, well I smoke marbarlos because camels give you cancer quicker, the result
is the same.

 

Xbox live starting to really *** me off lately everytime I start playing online everything just freezes it spoils your enjoyement where are these so called dedicated servers microsoft need to nip this in the bud before it's to late. Windows 10 can wait sort
your pathetic network out first.

 

it is still going on. Example, yesterday Core Services were fine however after logging in every game that uses internet says im not connected to XBL I gave up after an hour of frustration. Really becoming more of a nuance then a value in entertainment.

 

Hey there fellow gamers as the TheJackah said you can look up PSN troubles online.I can also assure you xbox live is up alot faster than PSN when it does go down. Example Christmas 2014 The massive DDOS attack on both Live and PSN, It took playstation 5
days to get PSN up and running it took xbox 24hours to get back online. If you have any solutions you would like to propose to solve the issues please post them here
