    Hello, Im a brazilian that lives in Europe. A friend of mine bought me a 12-month gift card for xbox gold from Brazil. As I know, because I tried to redeem the code here in Europe, I can only activate it while in Brazil but as I'm going there for New Years
    that's fine. My question is when I return to Europe, can I still use the Live Gold that I got from the gift card from Brazil, or it only works while I'm there even if I have lots of months to use it? Thanks in advance.

    What region are you in, Xbox LIVE gold memberships are region coded. It seems that website is for a different region.

    Not all regions get the same offer at the same time. The only region that I am aware of that has unlocked Xbox LIVE Gold for the weekend (March 8th - 10th) is the European region. If you are not in that region you will need to get a subscription in order
    to use the benefits of Xbox LIVE Gold.
