    xbox live gold redeeming issue


    I have bought a new xbox one and now purchased a 3-month xbox live subscription

    I am trying to redeem it directly from my xbox one but whem I click the "use code" button it just return me to "learn how to get xbox live gold button..

    so I tried using xbox.com

    when I enter the 25 character its show the 3 month xbox live god subscription then I confirm but after that

    it show message "something went wrong.Please try for a while"

    Been trying for the past 4 hours now..

    Question: How many hours do I wait to try again?? Or did I do something wrong in the process??

    Wait so you get 2 free games every month even if you stop paying for Gold??

    Yeah, unless something has changed recently, you get to keep your Xbox 360 gold games.

    But the Xbox One gold games you need to have an active subscription.

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Have you used Xbox Live Gold on the account that the prepaid code is being redeemed on? The reason we ask is due to the fact that Xbox Live Gold trials cannot be redeemed on an account that has used Xbox
    Live Gold before. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Thanks for your post. I understand you're experiencing an issue with Games with Gold. If you set home Xbox with another profile that has Xbox Live Gold, you will be able to play the same Game with Gold games that the other profile has redeemed. This means
    that if the other profile had not redeemed a certain game that you had redeemed when you had Xbox Live Gold, it will not play. For more information on Games with Gold, visit

    The prepaid card you mentioned. Is this a card to redeem Xbox Live Gold? If yes, did it say it was successfully redeemed?

    I'm asking you this because your gamercard shows that you're still a Xbox Live Silver member.
