    Xbox Live Gold redeem code error


    Hello, I bought a code for Xbox Live Gold subscription and here is what I did. The code is bought from a physical store.

    I clicked on the Gold advertisement on the home page from my Xbox One and I clicked "Buy Gold". On the next page I clicked on "Redeem Code" and it loaded up another page. There it told me to type in my code, and I did that. After finishing, I clicked "redeem"
    and I get the following message: "Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. The error has been recorded and we will investigate. Please try to redeem your code later". Down the page it says the following:

    "InvalidOfferId

    zo7k2b8p/0S5Jhnj.17.8

    2016/12/14 - [time of day]"

    I need help from anybody with the same problem, or a specialist. Any reply helps.

    I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

    Xbos-0x80169CF9

    Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

    I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
    to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.
