Xbox Live Gold Quest says Not Eligible

I have been following the current Xbox Quest Goal, and completed the adding of 5 friends. Then the Quest Website was not working for a while as confirmed by many others. It now tells me "You are no longer eligible as your membership has expired." I entered
my year subscription code days before the previous month was even set to expire for exactly this quest.

I had a feeling that something was up because for the last week, it kept telling me to renew my gold because it was about to expire; however, clicking that sent me to the gold page which clearly said that my subscription ends next June 2019.

Well it seems like it credited me for that quest; however, this current one still seems to never update the multiplayer progress, so we'll see what happens there.

Only legal residents of the 50 United States (D Legal residents of the 50 United States (D.C.), Canada (excluding Quebec) & the United Kingdom are eligible for Xbox Quests

from my knowledge the quests are eligible for xbox game pass and not the gold membership...

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. This error message appears when the previous month's Xbox Live Gold Quests are not able to be completed by the account. The Xbox Live Gold Quests for December are not active at the moment. The error message
will be removed once December's quests are posted. We recommend keeping an eye on the Xbox Live Gold Quest section of the console. The Xbox Live Gold Quests will be announced soon. We hope this helps!
