Xbox Live Gold Purchase Refund Query

Today I bought a year of gold without realising that xbox live was completely broken at the same time.

I tried to purchase it after an initial error and was declined. After things started working a bit better, I realised I was still silver, and had an email confirming my purchase of gold and cancellation right after. I don't know how it was cancelled, but
on my billing account it lists the first successful transaction, the declined ones and then a transaction for -£39.99 that is pending for payment in a few weeks.

I assume this means it is being refunded, but I just want to clarify if this is correct.

I don't believe Xbox live gold purchases are covered in the refund policy.

Delete Live Gold

Daft is correct any refund will always go back as credit towards future purchase for Xbox products (live gold, DLC, games etc).

Your best bet in this situation is to contact Xbox Live support by phone and let them check out your account. Like you mentioned There were issues with Xbox Live earlier so just to be sure give them a call.

I found the reason why i lost 6,99€ from my account

The xbox live gold membership take automatically money from my account

And why it doesnt show up at the "recent purchases"

On the majority of Xbox LIVE purchases it is clearly stated whether the item can be refunded or not. In this case, you should have thought more carefully about your purchase. The question is why you purchased Xbox LIVE Gold membership, and then you say you
do not want it, if you didn't want it then you wouldn't have purchased it, changing your mind does not entitle you to a refund unfortunately.
