Xbox Live gold problem

So i purchased Xbox live 1 month membership a few hrs ago through the console. But games won't let me online and still tell me to get a membership. My Microsoft account has confirmed the membership and taken the money.

I've tried signing out and back in and also shutdown/restart. What else can i try to do to fix this?

xbox live is having some issues so that may be the problem.
It worked earlier for me and there was a monetary value for each of the Gold bundles (no REQ points)

I have the same problem, I purchased a 1 year membership from **** and entered the code. My account said it has been updated but when I tried to play destiny 2 online, it still says Xbox live required. This is frustrating and annoying, please help lol

click on the tab "services and subscriptions"

what do you see there ?

Yep its all there my xbox live gold membership and my xbox game pass.

 

Try to power cycle the console...

Unfortunately this hasn't solved it.

I'm hoping its just a matter of time for my membership to sync up with my Xbox one? Not looking good though.

Would you be able to check under your profile to confirm you have Live listed as an active service? If it is listed as active and still giving that error, then you'll want to reach out to MS customer support directly to correct this issue

Services and Subscriptions then try removing and redownloading the profile using the link below:
