Xbox live gold problem

My gold account is valid till oct 25th but when I try to play a game it tells me to get gold. Also unable to get the games with gold games. What is going on?

xbox live is having some issues so that may be the problem.
It worked earlier for me and there was a monetary value for each of the Gold bundles (no REQ points)

There is currently a service alert for Xbox Live's servers, concerning "Purchase and Content Usage". This affects attempts at buying digital games/apps or even launching digitally purchased games/apps. Redeeming GWG titles may be affected too.

Microsoft has engineers working on the problem, since this issue is solely on Microsoft's end. There is nothing you have to do except wait until they fix it.

I'm not sure that's the issue. I can access my games but when I attempt to go into matchmaking I am told that I need to get gold even though I already have it. Hope this gets solved soon.

 

Hello I have the same problem. And we have no information.

 

That problem is still here from 22/6/2018!!!

And we need a solution. We pay for gold, but we can’t use it, what they tink to do about it?

Same problem, but... I don't have my activation code anymore. So, they can't do anything for me.

I lost my Live Gold subscription !!! What the hell...

 

Hello Tornado666 did you call them and that what they told you. If you redeemed a prepaid code I think it shows on account I have seen mine on my order history when I redeem for currency and that. So they wouldn't need the exact code if that the case.

When trying to download Stuntman Ignition (which is on gold this month) it is asking me to sign in and create a billing account, but I have gold membership and my account is active so I don't understand. Is this a related problem?
